Virtual Reality and Self-Driving Robots - The Possibilities of Modern Signal Processing

Let us show you how a fleet of (service) robots can determine their respective locations independently, i.e. without external localization devices. In addition, it will be demonstrated how each robot can independently detect whether individual modules (such as the cameras) are malfunctioning. In another demonstration, you can take a virtual seat in a string quartet and experience the musical performance acoustically and virtually. You will learn how a musical performance has to be recorded in order to be able to reproduce it acoustically and visually.
