Functional electrical stimulation of human limbs

Would you like to control your friends' movements like a puppet? We'll show you how! Functional electrical stimulation (FES) can be used to control the movements of human limbs. With the help of electromyography (EMG) sensors, artificial intelligence and electrical impulses via electrodes on the skin, you can have another person imitate your movements. But such gimmicks are not the actual aim of this application. With the help of FES, our aim is to enable people with paralyzed limbs, for example due to paraplegia or stroke, to use them again in everyday life - for example to grasp or walk again.
