The Astronomical Society in the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region (AGN e.V.) is an association of friends and supporters of astronomy in the metropolitan region. We support the co-operation of all those who want to introduce the public and especially young people to astronomy. The AGN is currently involved in promoting the teaching of astronomy in schools and operates the Arno Penzias radio telescope at the Regiomontanus Observatory in Nuremberg
